IREC Dynamics is in charge of simulating the trejectory of our rocket and optimizing the design. Our target is to reach a 10,000 feet apogee at the Spaceport America cup competition.
Our rocket aerodynamic coefficeints are verified using Ansys Fluent software. Students gain hands-on experience utilizing CFD software in preparation for industry.
Once our rocket is complete, we must verify our design. Our team will continue to update our trajectory simulation to adapt to the desert climate of the Spaceport America Cup launch site!
